Residents of the Waveland Woods neighborhood say living there is like living in the country.  With mature trees, big yards and lots of green spaces, they say it's an ideal place for everyone. 
The area is home to about 400 residents that are near suburban shopping, Interstate 235, Waveland Golf Course, Westminster house and a number of other public areas.  The neighborhood offers a wide range of affortable housing in a veriety of styles.  Several churches are within walking distance.
During the year, the Waveland Woods Neighborhood Association holds an annual landscaping day, a cleanup day and a neighborhood-wide garage sale.  the group meets regularly and publishes a newsletter.
