Arbor Peaks is a recently designed neighborhood in Des Moines, but the area that defines it is well-known. Arbor Peaks includes the historic Owl's Head neighborhood as well as Terrace Hill, the governor's mansion. The neighborhood is lcoatd on top of hills overlooking Water Works Park, and its residents enjoy easy access to the bike trails and other outdoor amenities the park provides.
