An older part of Des moines with a rich history, Oak Park offers an abundance of community pride and antural beauty. home tomore than 1,700 houses and 5,000 residents, Oak Park also contains churches, businesses, and schools.

The neighborhood features homes build between 1890's and 1960's. It is located near outdoor attractions, including Riverview Nature Island and bike paths. Oak Park Neighbors works with bordering neighborhood associations.
