The Meredith Neighborhood is popular with young families, who enjoy its suburban qualities and affortable housing. Meredith is home to nearly 1,000 residents, commerical businesses and a great mix of retail stores.

In this beautiful, well-kept neighborhood with a mixture of older and newer homes and well-established trees and lawns, residents enjoy a safe family environment, served by both the Des Moines and Johnston school districts.

The Meredith Neighborhood Association, established in 2000, is a strong volunteer organization. Embracing a valuable police-community-school partnership the MNA continues its goal to enhance the quality of life.
