Known for it's distictive brick homes, tree-lined streets and great community spirit, Beaverdale has been recognized as one of Des Moines' finest neighborhoods since the 1920's.

Its heart and soul is a charming commercial district on the corner of Beaver and Urbandale avenues. A newly developed Joe's Square, a 22,000 square foot mixed use building sits at the corner of Beaver Avenue and Fagen Drive.

A popular aspect of Beaverdale is the many celebrations organized by the Beaverdale Neighborhood Association.
